Introduction
The battle of Good against Evil dominates the millennia in all its varieties. He who believes being good turns evil, he who does evil suddenly finds his good heart. Explore who you are!
Your are a knave in the dark middle ages, determined to learn the martial art to become a knight. It is up to you whether you walk on the dark side and become a dreaded and merciless knight or on the light side, becoming a honorable and respected knight. Every decision you make determines the path you are taking, so chose wisely and walk on the path that has been foreseen to you.

The Game
All you need to play is an Internet connection and a browser. Click sign up and follow the instructions. Playing BattleKnight is entirely free of charge.
After logging in you are on the character page. You can navigate through the menus on top left and top right of the page. Here you can move through the entire game. The left red circle shows your health points, the less points are left the less the circle is filled. The same circle you find on the right side, the blue color shows your experience points. Once you the circle is filled, you will reach a new level and it will become empty again.
The higher your level, the better weapons you can buy and the more skills you will have.
You start a a knave. A knave is an apprentice of an experienced knight. Once you reached level 15 you will be knighted yourself and you can train a knave or be part of glorious tournaments. It will take a while until you get knighted, but be of good heart, it will be faster than assumed!
Here you can see your skills and features. Skills can be enhanced using silver coins. Your features are determined by your weapons, equipment, drunk potions and your skills.

Skills:
· Strength:
The stronger you are, the more hit points you cause.
· Dexterity:
The more dexterous you are, the more hits you can avoid.
· Stamina:
The higher your stamina, the more health points you will have.
· Luck:
Raises your chances to score a lucky hit.
Furthermore, the chance of being successful in missions increases as well as finding rubies.
· Weapons Skill:
The more you know about weapons, the better weapons you can carry.
Furthermore, weapon skill raises your own chance of hitting.
· Defensive Skill:
The more you know about defense, the better armor you can wear.
Hint: The better you train your knight, the more fights he will win.

Features
· Health points
Shows your current and maximum possible health points.
· Karma:
Positive Karma: You are walking the path of light
Negative Karma: You are walking on the dark side!
· Damage
The higher, the more damage you will cause.
· Armor
Higher values allows you to absorb more damage.
· Hit chance:
The higher your hit chance , the more hits you will score.
· Defensive chance:
The higher your defensive chance, the more hits you will deflect.
Additional information on Karma:
With your Karma your knight will change. Some weapons are only accessible wit negative Karma others only with positive. No direction has an advantage, you are merely determining your attitude.
Magical Skills:
Magical skills may be obtained buying magical weapons or magical items. These skills are:
· Speed: The higher the more often you can attack.
· Critical hits:: The higher the more often you can score severe hits.
· Resistance againstFire, ice, strokes, poison: Protects you against matching attacks.
Target areas Infight
With every battle there is a certain, fixed pattern how you are attacking and defending yourself. This pattern is divided in target and defense areas.

Hint: The more red is in one circle, the harder it is to score a hit, but the higher the inflicted damage will be. Attacks and defenses are worked through from left to right until the battle is over.
As training is required to change the settings, you will have to spend silver coins to change the settings.

Equipment and Inventory
Equipment overview shows you the names and attack/defense values of your equipment. Items and equipment can be dragged from your inventory to your equipment or can be sold if stored at your inventory. Items in the inventory can be bought. Click onto the item in the inventory in order to put it down. In order to see which capabilities the item possesses, move your cursor over the item.

Missions and Quests
Attack merchants, start adventures, search for treasures or raids here by using this menu.
Raids and Quests
Raids result in a gain of negative Karma; quests will be rewarded with a positive Karma. You will receive a message after each mission informing you on everything you received or raided during your mission.
Maximum mission time is 60 minutes a day.
Hint: Premium members can spend 120 minutes a day to complete missions.
Knights Duel
Challenge knaves or knights right from here. Challenging opponents having a negative karma will increase your positive karma and challenging those with a positive karma will effect yours negatively. Each raid may lead to profit or loss, so better think twice before attacking someone at random!
Experience points are gained during every battle. Your level increases once you have collected enough experience points.Event Knight 1 Knight 2

Work
A knight doesn't go to work as any other people. He has to earn his income honestly, by robbing people or guarding. Your job influences your karma corresponding to which type of work you choose.
Your hourly income is increased by each level your knight has gained.
The maximum working time is 8 hours a day.
Hint: Premium players may work 12 hours.

Merchant
There are 4 types of merchants: Weapons Merchant:: He offers you weapons you can buy if you meet the needed requirements.
Armor Merchant:: Any equipment you will need can be bought from him if you meet the needed requirements.
Artifact Merchant:: Magic weapons which improve your skills and attributes.
Gems Merchant:: Buy the needed gems you will need for purchasing equipment here.

Order
Knaves and knights can join their forces by forming an order. Knaves can be trained better by the knights there and protect each other.
Board of the Order
This board serves as a communication center for the members of the order. You may adjust the rights for your members if they should be allowed to read it or not.
House of the Order
Any member may check the status of the house of the order here. Your order can be extended to get new members if your order has collected enough money.

Payments to the Order
Having enough silver coins from your members to expand your castle is essential and the coins will be stored at the orders' treasury.
Details of the Order
Leaders of the order can add their history here. Please make sure that there is no pornographic, racist, or in any other meaning unsuitable content. Violation of this rule will result in an exclusion from the game. Payments will not refunded in this case.
Ranks of the Order
Up to 5 ranks are ready for use; 1 is the lowest possible rank and rank 5 the highest possible. Rank names are free to your choice.
Abandon the Order
You may leave the order by using this option.
The order will be disbanded if the leader leaves the order and if there are no further members. The highest ranked member will automatically become leader in case there are still enough members.

The Country Estate
The country estate is your residence and offers you some very handy options.
Premium Account
Your premium account is valid for: 30 days and comes with the following features:
- no ingame advertisement
- 120 minutes for the missions per day
- 12 hours working time per day instead of 8 hours
- improved text format
- Messages will be saved up to 30 days (non-premium: 7 days)
- 250 extra silver coins
The Premium Account costs 30 gems
Guards
Guards defend your country estate and will help you if other knights attack you. Your guards raise your defense chance by: 25%
The feature is active for: 30 days.
The guards cost: 15 gems.
Training doll
The training doll helps you during training your knight and reduce the costs of upgrading your attributes. 25%
The feature is active for: 30 days..

Treasure chest
You may store part of your booty here. A knight attacking you will e.g. only be able to rob 40% 40 silver coins if you stored 100 silver coins in your treasure chest..

Brother-in Arms
He will help you to defeat other knights by increasing your hit chance

Communication
Here you will find your messages, from the system as well as from other players. Messages will be deleted after 7 days. You can also send messages to other players.
Under email, you can write a message to another players. In addition, you must indicate the exact name of the player, write your message in the box and send it. In the email archive, you can find the messages sent in the last 7 days..
Hint: If you have a premium account, messages will be stored 30 days..

Highscore
You can sort the highscore by clicking the according headline. If you click on the name of a knight, the character view will open..

Lance Tournaments
Your opponents will face you with a horse and a lance. Every 24 hours a tournament will take place. Before each tournament, you have to determine hits and defense.
